PD Lab
GIM offers an unique opportunity to its students to learn Business Communication in a sophisticated English Communication Lab fitted with modern equipment like a 29’’ T.V.set, LCD projector, Digital Camera, Voice Recorder, Multimedia with internet facility etc. to ensure that students are exposed to cross-cultural communication, good accent and impressive style which are the prerequisite for a positive career. Fluency and accuracy in speech enhances a student’s personality that paves the way for a bright future. Trained English faculties take classes regularly guiding the students for the Business English program and basic self learning program and thus, the students get plenty of lessons to build their confidence and self-image so vital for interviews. The lab also includes practical sessions on GD, Presentation & Extempore skills etc. to help the learners enjoy the process of improving their language skills as well as overall personality.
Computer Lab
GIM has state-of –the art Computer Lab with more than 150 PCs to cater to the computing needs of all students. It is equipped with servers and multiple terminals with multiplel operating systems enabling a client-server environment. Internet connection is also provided which helps the students in their continuous search for knowledge. The campus has high speed Broadband Connectivity through Wi-Fi Networks.
Library
GIM has a very well stocked library which is regularly replenished with current national and international Journals, Manuals, Periodicals, Magazines apart from a rich collection of both textual and reference books alike. The library subscribes to several leading Business News papers and Magazines along with Journals of India’s top-notch B-Schools to provide the students with latest trends of economy & technology.
Lecture Halls
Lecture Halls fitted with most contemporary teaching aids like OHP, LCD, PA system etc. make learning a fool-proof experience. The teaching pedagogy includes Audio-Visual Presentation, Management Games and Role-play apart from Class Room Lectures and Case Studies.
Hostel
Well-furnished separate hostels are available , with proper amenities for boys and girls which are under the direct supervision of the Hostel Superintendent assisted by –time Wardens acting as friends and guides at the same time. Care is taken by the Management to give the feeling of ‘a home away from home’ to the Hostel in-mates.
Transport
GIM provides the students regular transport facilities to and from their places of abode. It has a regular bus services plying to and form all the major regions of Bhubaneswar town depending upon number of students available from different hop-on points.
Canteen
The college canteen & cafeteria ensure that quality food is served at reasonable price and the working of the canteen is strictly monitored to adhere to proper standards of hygiene. Besides, it caters to the various taste buds of the students and the staff of the college.
Auditorium
In-house facilities of GIM include inter alia a two hundred fifty seater modern auditorium . being fully air-conditioned, it is equipped with high class audio visual and light systems that provides a congenial atmosphere for conducting important activates like national & international Seminars in addition to classroom seminar project, presentation, pre-placement interaction, quiz competitions, student meetings and faculty meetings and the like. It has also access to the Inter Server.
