Admission Procedure
Admission to MBA, MCA courses will be strictly through OJEE. Candidates applying for reserved seats (SC/ST/SEBC) must be from Odisha State only, and reservation will be as per the rules in force at the time of admission. Candidates claiming access to any reserved category must apply through OJEE. Moreover, 100% of students will be selected through OJEE. However, for MBA course admission, candidates who are OJEE rank-holders and have secured 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) marks in graduation (any branch) are eligible for admission. For MCA admission, candidates who have 50% marks in +3 streams and mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects in +2 levels, or hold a BCA or BSc (IT) degree are eligible for admission.
Master in Business Administration (MBA)
The admission of student for MBA Course takes place normally in the month of August every year and mostly they are taken from the common counselling made through JEE,CET, or any other test like CAT,MAT,XAT,ATMA etc. The admission is strictly as per the guidelines prescribed by affiliating University which is notified well in advance before the admission session and this is non-negotiable in all the circumstances and the individuals institutes have no roles to play in that matters. COURSE FEE as per the norms of the State Govt.
Master in Computer Application (MCA)
The admission of student for MCA Course takes place normally in the month of August every year and mostly they are taken from the common counselling made through OJEE. The admission is strictly as per the guidelines prescribed by affiliating University which is notified well in advance before the admission session and this is non-negotiable in all the circumstances and the individuals institutes have no roles to play in that matters. COURSE FEE as per the norms of the State Govt.
BBA
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifying Exam: Pass Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board in any stream (Arts, Science, or Commerce).
- Minimum Marks: Secure at least 45% aggregate marks in your 10+2 qualification.
Admission Procedure
- Check Notifications: Visit the official BPUT Website or specific affiliated college portals (such as constituent or affiliated management colleges in Odisha) when application windows open for the academic session.
- Application Submission: Fill out the admission application form online or offline directly through the respective affiliated institute or via centralized state counseling channels if applicable.
- Merit Preparation: BBA selections are typically evaluated on a merit basis using the total marks/percentage obtained in the Class 12 board examinations.
- Document Verification & Fee Payment: Once selected, submit original mark sheets, certificates, and ID proof for verification at the allotted college and pay the admission fees to confirm your seat.
BCA
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifying Exam: Pass Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Stream & Subject Requirement: While students from Science, Commerce, or Arts can apply, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, or Computer Science is generally required as a mandatory or highly preferred subject at the 10+2 level.
- Minimum Marks: Secure at least 45% to 50% aggregate marks in your qualifying board exams (relaxations apply for reserved categories).
Admission Procedure
- Application Submission: You must apply directly through the respective BPUT-affiliated college or institute (either via their online admission portal or by collecting an offline form).
- Merit Preparation: BCA selections are typically evaluated on a merit basis using the total marks/percentage obtained in the Class 12 board examinations.
- Counseling and Verification: Once the merit list is published, you must report to the respective college campus for document verification. Bring your 10th & 12th mark sheets, school leaving certificate, and migration certificate.
- Fee Payment: Lock your seat by paying the initial admission fee
